First, make sure the fabric can safely withstand high heat. Preheat the iron to approximately 150°C (302°F) and turn off the steam function.

Place the patch in the desired position and cover it with a thin cotton cloth to protect the embroidery. Iron the front for 20–35 seconds using firm pressure, then turn the item inside out and iron the back for another 15–20 seconds.

Allow the patch to cool completely before checking the adhesion. For extra durability, secure several points around the edge with needle and thread. Garment steamers are not recommended because they may not provide enough heat or pressure.

Iron-on patches work best on heat-resistant fabrics such as cotton, denim, canvas, and suitable polyester blends.

For sweaters, leather, mesh, very smooth or heavily textured fabrics, we recommend sewing the patch instead. Always check the garment’s care label before ironing.

If the patch begins to lift after washing or extended use, carefully reheat it or secure the edges with needle and thread.
